Daniel Defense RIII 16

The Daniel Defense DD4 RIII is the full-size 16-inch sibling to the M4A1 RIII, sharing the same RIS III M-LOK handguard system and fully ambidextrous MARS-compatible lower while running a standard 16-inch Government-profile barrel for maximum velocity and a non-NFA configuration requiring no special paperwork. The Cold Hammer Forged, chrome-lined 5.56 NATO barrel is built to the same Mil-Spec+ standards as Daniel Defense's military contract deliverables, with high-pressure and magnetic particle testing on every barrel and BCG that leaves the factory. The mid-length gas system provides an ideal dwell time and a noticeably smoother cycling impulse compared to carbine-length systems.

The RIS III 12.5-inch M-LOK handguard uses the same 6-bolt attachment system as the legendary RIS II, providing a rock-solid free-float platform that maintains zero even under hard use. The GRIP-N-RIP fully ambidextrous charging handle, ambidextrous bolt catch, and ambidextrous safety selector allow left-handed and right-handed shooters to operate the rifle with equal efficiency.
