M4A1 RIII 14.5

The Daniel Defense M4A1 RIII is the closest production rifle available to the actual M4A1 carbine carried by U.S. Special Operations Forces, built to the same MIL-SPEC+ standards that Daniel Defense has supplied to SOCOM for years. The 14.5-inch Cold Hammer Forged, chrome-lined M4-profile barrel in 5.56 NATO is permanently pinned and welded with a Daniel Defense extended flash suppressor, preserving the compact handling of the 14.5-inch length without requiring an NFA registration. The mid-length gas system reduces felt recoil and carrier velocity compared to a carbine gas system on the same barrel length.

The RIS III 12.5-inch M-LOK handguard is a direct evolution of the RIS II quad-rail developed for SOCOM, offering the same 6-bolt bolt-up attachment and rail rigidity in a significantly lighter M-LOK format. The fully ambidextrous lower allows the shooter to operate bolt catch, safety selector, and magazine release from either side without moving their dominant hand. Every barrel and BCG is high-pressure and magnetic particle tested. For shooters who want the actual military-issue configuration in a semi-automatic, the M4A1 RIII is as close as it gets without a government contract.
