M9A4

The Beretta M9A4 is the most advanced evolution of the iconic M9 service pistol, the sidearm that has served the United States military since 1985. Built on the Vertec-style aluminum alloy frame with a straight-backstrap grip that positions the hand higher for improved recoil control, the M9A4 chambers the standard 9mm Luger cartridge and feeds from magazines. The 5.1-inch barrel delivers excellent velocity and a generous sight radius, while the double-action/single-action trigger system with Beretta's enhanced short-reset Xtreme Trigger provides a smooth, refined shooting experience in both modes. The open-slide design virtually eliminates stovepipe malfunctions and allows for easy inspection of the chamber.

In a major departure from its predecessors, the M9A4 features a red-dot-optic-ready slide with integral cuts and a supplied set of optic adapter plates, allowing the shooter to mount most popular miniature red dot sights directly to the slide. Factory tritium 3-dot night sights are fitted as standard, with a generous 6.3-inch sight radius. The threaded 5.1-inch barrel accepts suppressors on a 1/2"-28 thread pattern. Thin 92X-profile textured polymer grip panels reduce the width of the frame and improve ergonomics significantly.
